On behalf of the Malaysian Natural Product Society (MNPS), I am very pleased to announce the 8th ANRAP International Seminar will be held on 23rd-25th November, 2015.  With great pleasure, I would like to invite your participation to the event.  This is the second time that the ANRAP Seminar is being held in Malaysia, and this time around the Seminar will be organized collaboratively by several Malaysian Universities under the umbrella of MNPS, together with ANRAP.

Diabetes is a major concern in Malaysia and other Asian countries.  The top five countries with the highest diabetes prevalence is the world are Asian countries.  WHO projects that diabetes will be the 7th leading cause of death in 2030.  This warrants a serious effort in strengthening the prevention and control programs.  Thus, the 8th ANRAP International Seminar is a timely event focusing on frontier research and opportunities in combating diabetes to pave the way forward.

We look forward to your participation and hope that you would also take this opportunity to visit our beautiful Malaysia, Truly Asia.

Professor Dr Khozirah Shaari
